Earlier this year, while attending the Bluebeam Extreme conference I stopped by the DroneDeploy booth to see what they were doing. Whether it’s geo-tagged imagery, or expediting pre-construction site planning and design DroneDeploy is HOT. Their system work from bid to earthworks and will deliver survey-grade maps. You can even verify subcontractor work with automated cut/fill analysis and side by side comparisons. Here’s the video interview I captured. Best thing is they integrate with Bluebeam’s Studio Prime for a win-win!
Later in the year, I ran into them again at the 2019 Procore conference in Phoenix. Apparently they are the drone business most interested in integrations to popular construction solutions… they have over 80 integrations and apps completed. Have you been to their website yet?
